How long does tiling a bathroom take?
Most bathrooms take a few days depending on size, tile format and preparation needed. We confirm timings with your quote.
Can you tile floor to ceiling?
Yes. Full-height tiling is common and we set out so the top course and corners look deliberate.
Do you tile over existing tiles?
Only where the existing tiles are sound, flat and well bonded. Otherwise we recommend removing them first.
Can you tile a shower niche?
Yes, niches, benches and window reveals are tiled with mitred or trimmed edges as agreed.
Do you waterproof shower areas?
Yes, we can tank wet areas before tiling. Tell us about the shower type when you request a quote.
How much extra tile should I order?
Allow roughly 10% over the measured area for cuts and breakages, more for patterns or herringbone.
Will you remove the old tiles?
Removal can be included if you ask for it when quoting, as it affects time and waste disposal.
Can I use the bathroom while you work?
Usually not during tiling and setting. We'll tell you which days the room is out of use.
Do you supply the tiles?
No — TLS Tiling fits the tiles you supply. You choose and buy your tiles, and we install them with care.
Do you do full bathroom installations?
No. We are a tiling-only specialist, so no plumbing, electrics or sanitaryware fitting. We handle the tiling side of the job.
