Mosaic needs a flat substrate, consistent joints between sheets and clean cut edges, which takes time to do properly. We fit tiles you supply and carry out tiling only, with no plumbing, electrics or sanitaryware work.

Is mosaic good for shower floors?
Yes. The small format follows falls to the drain and the extra grout lines add grip.
Can you cut mosaic to fit awkward shapes?
Yes, individual pieces are cut so edges and corners look intentional.
Does glass mosaic need special adhesive?
Usually a white adhesive suited to glass, so the colour reads correctly. You supply the tiles; we advise on fixing.
Will the sheet joins be visible?
Not when set out properly — we align joints between sheets to match the internal spacing.
Can mosaic be used as a border?
Yes, borders and inset bands are common and are set out with the main tiling.
Does mosaic need sealing?
Natural stone and some marble mosaics do. Glass and porcelain generally don't.
Is mosaic more expensive to fit?
It takes longer than standard tiling, so quotes reflect the extra labour. Prices are quoted per job.
Can you mix mosaic with larger tiles?
Yes, combining a mosaic feature with larger field tiles works well when levels are planned in advance.

Do you do full bathroom installations?
